I met Jenny and Jason almost two years ago. To be honest I can't actually remember where it was, but I'll assume it was a wedding show or a referral from a friend. When we sat down for the wedding consultation I immediately noticed a very cute and playful couple who were very self deprecating and poked fun at each other and soon enough, even me. The process of getting to know a couple as their wedding photographer has many facets to it. You meet at a bridal show, you meet again at the wedding consultation and then the engagement session. Those three things happen very quickly and then you usually don't see the couple again until right before the wedding day or the actual wedding day. However with Jenny and Jason it was different. We chatted over social media quite frequently and exchanged ideas about their upcoming wedding and continued to poke fun at each other.
Jenny and Jason are a total class couple. They are a ton of fun to be around, so much so that we shot "two" engagement sessions because one just wasn't enough. (Something about their photographer not being able to find water may have been the real reason for the two sessions)! Engagement sessions aside, I have literally never worked with a couple who photographs better. So natural, so relaxed and always willing to take one more shot, just to be safe. It was no different on the wedding day as the entire family and wedding party was exactly the same and really wanted the day to be perfect for them both. So much so that I actually stayed at the reception, well past the contracted time, because this literally was the party of the summer. The dance floor was never empty, the bar was never quiet and the food kept coming and coming.
Clearly it's a testament to the type of people Jenny and Jason are, as everyone wanted to be there and no one wanted to leave. The party went on way in to the night and great memories were made by all who had the pleasure to attend.
Congrats and thanks for sticking with me, even though I can't find water!
